I was off to a meeting last night. Walking past my car I notice something rather peculiar about my window. Upon closer inspection I came upon a dreadful discovery. The parking lot by night makes taking pictures rather difficult so this is what I came up with this morning.

What the hell does this? The damage doesn't seem to go all the way through. The inside still feels smooth. Feel free to ask for details to help me find an answer.

 

Pellet or BB. Window tint holding it together and making the inside appear to feel smooth.

Looks like the damage came from the INSIDE?

Perhaps something under pressure in the cabin burst out?

I was actually going to say "ninja rocks" or the small pieces of broken ceramic off of a spark plug. They destroy windows as well...

It's from outside. Next time you see a shop window with a BB hole in it check it out closer. It LOOKS like it came from inside, but it didn't. It's a trip.

I thought it looked like it came from inside as well but there's nothing in there. I try to keep my interior empty to lower the chances of break ins.
