they need a road thru the valley though, and not one that pointlessly goes to the summit. But it would be a Pacheco Pass-60+ mph road so it wouldnt be that much fun now that i think about it.

cant wait il they demo mt hammy and repave it so its at least like the backside!

haha yeah, we'll all turn in our cars for those Red Bull 10G pulling airplanes that weave thru big air bags over rivers.

dont know when they will build a road out of SJ that cuts over to I5...if they had one, the Lick fire wouldve been easier to access, since they had like 1 main dirt road and no access to it.
lol those roads would only work for fun drives.... no fire break no matter how big will will stop those 40 foot flames and 50 mph winds from spreading embers.

like gagan said, the santa ana winds will ALWAYS start and spread fires down in socal.

i may become what you view as a huge *****, but I really dont get sad when I see a millionaire's house burn down.

When I see a ranch burn, knowing that its someones home and livelyhood, that bothers me.

The cosmetic plastic surgeons, the investment bankers, and other people....im sorry...i hope you have insurance.

On a side note though, I dont get a kick out of injury or death.

If you own a house or your parents own a house here in the bay area, some one from the midwest would say that you or your parents are millionaires.

regardless of money, think of all the personal belongings like pictures and other stuff that make your home a home.

has any of you that are making such low class comments ever been through a house fire? I have it's not fun.

they have to be REALLY rich for me not to care...id say 99% of the homes being burned are families that dont live extravagantly

...as for that 1% aww he has to sell his exotic cars now...boohoo...the type of people that only donate to charity to write it off for taxes...or the people that call the cops on me when they hear me riding my dirtbike in the mtns...those F***s

plastic people i call them, plastic hearts but for the 99% of the others it is really unfortunate.

I'm not a praying man, but I do hope there aren't many casualties and everyone gets out okay. It looks like the damn apocalypse out there!
