I'm in sales...thought I'd give it a try.

I'm trying to find out about the service dept.

This is the #1 EVO selling dealer on the West Coast.

They're unable to get EVOs in the showroom, normally straight off the truck and into service for detail & prep, then sold!

They have a gorgeous white one in now! drool.....

This dealer sold Shiv his EVO, and he's brought it back to show it off.

Thumbs down

I went home early today.

They have like 100 million salespeople, all men, and no customers!

Being a true professional (plus I look like Hitman 2, the Silent Assassin), a poorly run business really pisses me off.

And, like a truly BS dealer, they will not allow ANYONE to test drive the EVO...you buy it, then you may drive it....total BS, like the stereotype of your typical motorcycle dealer.

I'm now trying to work at some different dealerships, because the managers at Concord Mits remind me of the movie "Glen Gary, Glen Ross"...

I would love to sell Subies, but all the dealerships close to me (Diablo, Livermore) have poor service depts, and Subaru doesn't advertise for anything other than the WRX. It makes me sick that they don't try to sell the Legacy or Forrester...they must like not to sell cars....

Don't worry, drift, I ain't leaving BAIC!!!

When you said you went to work for the 'other side', for some strange reason, I thought you meant Microsoft.

the thing with test drives is that the only way to do it fairly is to set aside one car that will basically be a beater. you know people aren't going to keep it under 4 grand on their test drive and they also want to see how the thing handles. i don't know very many people who want their car (that they're paying their hard earned money for) beaten into the ground before they drive it and before the break in period is even close to being done.
