I previously had a lightened flywheel and pulley installed together....constant misfires on all 4 cylinders after that....removed the pulley because i heard these same rumors about what was causing it.....Still misfiring on all 4 cylinders as usual....I've just come to live with it, figuring it's the lightened flywheel!!
I do have an extremely modded ej20....so tracking the problem is next to impossible!
All I know is it's a 12 second MOBSTER thanks to Adam & Bill..

I was under the impression that the misfire codes aren't caused by knock sensor and "noise"...they are caused by the ECU misinterpreting the crank angle sensor because the engine now spins a bit different than the ECU is used to seeing.
