Where do you live? I'd gladly teach you a few things but i'm in the North Bay Area. The best way to do it is to have someone very good in front of you driving another car as you try and copy there lines on cornering, breaking etc. Also have another person in the car with you to get you pointers on you RPM's how to hold the steering wheel loose yet in control. What gear you should be in at what speeds etc...

Come on one of our "slower" drivers some time soon and i'll ride with you as we follow psoper, Krinkov or daredevil or the route.

I'd love to. i also have weekday afternoons off so if we don't have a drive in the near future we could probably get a few people to do a few shorter runs some afternoon.

Keep in tough

send me a PM and to remind me and i'll write you back soon with some dates.

I think following a fast driver is a terrible idea, at least until you learn how to handle the car when you're on the edge of grip.

It's good to learn turn-in, brake points, lines, etc...but I think the suggestion of having someone ride along with you would be better.

Oh, if you haven't already. I suggest getting yourself an ajustable Rear sway bar right away. It's probably the best mob you could do to your car.

Check out MPJ Performance

Again... (fron experience of nearly totalling my car)...learn how to drive first. The rear sway bar will create a sweet oversteer condition, that if you don't know how to react to it, you'll loop your car into the curb. Ah but you have an L so you probably need to upgrade it anyway...nevermind don't listen to me! lol

That'll learn ya. When you consider it's about the same cost as a speeding ticket or a wing or something, it's really worth it...

I missed the "also"

And HE has an L if i'm not mistaken...so my comments regarding the sway don't apply as much as they do to a WRX (that already has a relatively big rsb).

I'm not smoking anything, but I definitely wish I was drinking something. It's been a long week...as evidenced by my postcount here! lol
