boardoholic and I just got back. It was a great day at Boreal. Can't beat the $10 with student ID lift tickets. It was really warm, good day though. My knee is swollen and sore and after taking a little over a season off, I was DEF. rusty. We are planning to go up again in a couple of weeks.

i concur...not too shabby for our 1st time out this season. the conditions were excellent for it only being FIVE days after halloween! the student hook-up on fridays!
i guess the only downers were -- your recuperating knee, my shoulder smash on the jib-box, and, last but not least, getting nailed by smokey not 5 minutes from the resort on the way home! Doh!

when do they do these student hookups?? I read $5 and $10 lift tickets left and right, how do you get these deals?

 

on fridays at boreal, its $10 for a college student ID.

 

this is where i go to check out lift ticket deals! fyi: they haven't updated their "Deals" page yet. so, if ya happen to click "Deals" on their menu, the prices & whatnot are for the 03-04 season. hopefully, they'll have most of their schtuff updated by turkey day!

 

w00t. I hit Sugar Bowl yesterday.

It was not some great powder day, but it's the first weekend of November! Conditions were awesome all things considered. I'm rusty and out of shape but it's gonna be a great year.

Glad to hear you guys had fun at Boreal on Friday. I'll try 'n take a trip with you week-day riders sometime this year.
