You have to try them all on and see what fits best. Personally the Giro G10mx in an XL is perfect for me and is really comfortable. Do I have it though? No, because I couldn't bring myself to pay $170 for a helmet even with all the cool toys it comes with. I ended up getting a pro-tec for $25 new. Doesn't fit or look as good, but for the price, $145 wasn't worth it.
