Car Info: 2004 WRX Wagon
Same issue

Hi Everybody,
I am frantically trying to figure out how to pass smog. I have a 2004 wagon with a newly added cobb ap tuned by GST in Hayward. High flow cats up and 3" to the rear w/ perrin pulley. I went to the smog test who passed me visually and flying colors on the sniff test but I have the catalyst and evap monitors holding me up. I have been out to the smog shop a couple of times in the past two weeks and put 400 miles on the car easily and have not passed with all sorts of driving (highway and city). He is just using the obd reader so I am not continually hooking up to the state system. I need to get one of these monitors to go away because my sticker was up in September - I'm ridin' dirty!. Do I wait and drive another week, should i start with a new gas cap for the evap before going crazy and spending lots of $$$ to get it going?

this tread was too similar already I figured I would add on instead of starting a new one

Thanks all,
Spencer
