smog help:

i need to take my car to get a smog check in order for me to be able to register my car...i need some advice because i dont think i will pass...any help would be nice...

if you have mods you may want to remove some such as a dp which can def. screw wit ur smog check...

hope you still have the stock parts

i have my ecu flashed for a full turbo back exhaust with a helix up and down pipe and a borla hush...i do have the stock parts...looks like im going to have to bite he bullet and swap out the dp....do you think my remapped ecu will cause any issue?

Swap the dp for stock and use the stock map.

Yes.. i believe ur ecu reflash will affect the smog results. As for dp and upipe.. I think with the stock dp replaced, it should be sufficient to pass the smog in terms of the sniff portion.. but if the tester knows your car then it won't pass the visual since there are 3 cats on our cars (assuming u have the wrx) two on the dp, one on the up. Hope that info helped.
