Yeah, my ex-wife was cheating and taking money we were supposed to be saving. Not only that, but she was a habitual liar. So I had to end that relationship.

It was seriously for the better.

Each situation is different. And it depends on what is involved. In my case, we had nothing, really. But when couples have a house(s), kids, tons of money, then it's a lot tougher to split.

Very true. It all depends on the situation and how much each is willing to compromise

If a guy finds out his wife is cheating should he just 'be a man and stick it out'? Isn't it being more of a man to not let someone walk all over you and improve your situation?

Your statement is great in theory, but it's only a theory.
LOL its not a theory. Its just a vague statement LOL.
You see, in that case, HE should divorce because that is WRONG to any degree you want to put it.
Maybe I should just write out everything I believe and then maybe everybody can understand where I am coming from.

because if you have kids ITS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT YOU!

think about the kids and the living situations they will have to deal with because you 2 nub skulls were to damn selfish and retarded to keep a healthy marriage.

do you think the kids are going to enjoy living at one parents house one weekend then getting dragged over to the other parents house the next? its not fair to the kids to have to live out of a travel bag.

but most adults end up thinking only about themselves in these situations and never mind how it will effect their children...

oh BUT! they are GREAT parents....

(exceptions are marriages were there is an addiction or abusive problems ect.)

yeah. good explanation. But I guess sometimes it would be better if they split because one parent is more annoying than the other

51% in the U.S. More people are divorced than not, which is kind of sad. Definitely agree with the thinking about the kids comment above.

If you wanted a poll, it would be Car Enthusiast Divorce Rate.

I get that. But then you could get a situation where young children are around parents who hate each other. Even if it does not result in physical violence, the kids will be exposed to psychological abuse the selfish parents will heap on one another. Would it not be LESS selfish in this case to remove the children from this abusive situation? For example, having the parents not be around each other?

Children are resilient and adaptable. They learn faster and more in depth than most adults do. Granted, they don't know all the concepts, but they understand context. Monkey see, monkey do, and if you fight in front of your kids, your kids will fight too.
