Is that the right number for AHQ? I called but it sounded like a lady's personal phone or something. I need a quote for a valve adjustment and to have them take a look at my clutch and see what's up ('01 RS).

I dunno, maybe it's not but usually we keep these things on the DL to respect the business.
As many shops in the bay area charge different flat labor rates and also different rates for different people and conditions, and their mechanics may have different skill levels, etc. it may be disrespectful to label them as a straight price vs. price comparison in public.
