That 3rd period could have gone either way. Neither team had a distinct advantage there until Burns looses his stick. He should have done the fall on the puck trick and tried to get another Shark there to help out.
And yea, those last 2 minutes were rough. But the Sharks were pressing, trying too hard to force something instead of playing their game. They need to find an answer to Bonino and Rust. Their lines wreaked the most havoc. Too much focus on stopping Malkin, Crosby and Kessel.
It was a game 1 feel out. I think the Sharks looked good and it should be a good series.

I have too thought about selling my ticket for Saturday as well, but can't do it. Its history being made. Who knows when the Sharks will make it to the Stanley Cup again.
We have section 202 seats and on Stubhub our seats were going for over $900 each last time I checked.
My friends and I had bought a Sharks 10 pack this season and at the end of the regular season we had the option to buy playoff tickets. We bought 4 tickets, one game per round for $400. We joked, saying that we'd be getting money back and here we are now using our last ticket going to a Stanley Cup Final game!

They finally faced a team much faster then them and having a hard time trying to play their game. Had it not been for Jones it would have been a blow out.
I don't like that DeBoer during the press confrence after the game said he felt they played better in this game.
I saw the same garbage from the first game. No puck control, lack of urgency to get to the puck, constant turn overs and lack of speed.
If they want to stay in this series, they have to win these next two games at home.
Also NBC sports commentators are a joke, completely biased on who they favor in the Stanley Cup and Pierre, cant stand that guy. They look up to Crosby like he's a hockey god. He's good but not that good.
