Marleau has been with the Sharks his entire career and has his family situated in Los Gatos. I think if the Sharks get rid of him, he's retired.
These playoffs are just strange all around. Many records being broken, more penalties than last years playoffs all together, tons of suspensions, and so far 3 playoff frequent teams (Red Wings, Sharks, Canucks, soon to be Black Hawks) being taken out by unexpected teams (Preditors, Blues, Kigns, and possible Coyotes). Very interesting/fun year indeed.

I would be surprised if Marleau left. He has been pretty good regular season and I know the playoffs is where it really counts but i would really be surprised if he wasn't around anymore.
I heard rumors about getting rid of Todd, I'm curious to see how that plays out. I can see why people would want to get rid of him but he has delivered us to the playoffs fairly consistently, I think there is more than just coaching we need to work on to not choke early on.
I nearly cried yesterday this season was not hot

If Marleau does retire, it'll be a huge boon to Bay Area junior hockey. We already have camps featuring Cheech, Curtis Brown and a topflight strength/conditioning coach (name escapes me atm)...add to that a Marleau skate-like-the-wind camp and that'll do nothing but stoke the Bay Area hockey community.
If in doubt, FLAT OUT

Not so shocked that the Sharks are out in the first round this year. Blues were doing well this year and the Sharks weren't the best team we've had IMO. I was also REALLY surprised to see the Wings and Canucks go down that fast too. Now I am very curious to see who ends up in the finals.

Funny story about T. Mitchell, my wife is a property manager at an apartment complex so she talks with other PM's. She talked with the manager where he lives and said he is a party animal and destroys everything in his apartment, then when talking with him he's kind of dim/spacey. . .but a super nice/cool guy. I thought he was promising on the ice, sad to see him go.
I remember when Burish pretty much won the Blackhawks Stanley Cup a few years ago. That dude is just plain big and wins space in front of the net. Tory Mitchell was promising, but he was always hurt and yea he has some potential, just never thrived in the San Jose Sharks Line-up.
Always lookin' for the 3rd-4th liners to do more than just rough housing. I like Burish, he's strong.

That hit was killer...what was weird tho was he limped off after getting his head knocked off
Stuart and O'Byrne fought right in front of us. Stuart only landed one, but it was a doooozy lol
