SFR SCCA autox - Oakland Coliseum 2/9
Damn class thing is insanely confusing. The h brace uses stock mounting holes, that should make a difference right? Surprised at the tire selections allowed for certain classes. Anyways I guess the fp green would push me into another class, how exactly is this determined and enforced?

Looked here but it seems to be missing most the specific details you guys are talking about and subcategories.

SM you don't need a restrictor. That is for FP.

Or just tell us your mod list and we can help you. 2 of the most common mods that ding you up into a class you don't want to be in are ALKs and chassis braces.

ya the classing can be a bit confusing. But if it doesn't say you can do it, you can't. The turbo puts you in SM. It's the chassis bracing that puts you higher. Like Apetron said earlier you can only connect 2 points, and that brace is 4. Huck beat me to it. See link above for rules.

You can trim some of the fenders down a bit, and go flares.

That would be illegal for his class.

It's Pax is harder than FP, and SM.
Tom can stay SM-T2 if he wants, I really don't mind myself. But OSP-T2 would be more than fair to everyone so he can stay in T2 and not have to be alone in FP.

Why? I did it all the time.
Not trying to brag... I really would be near the fastest in raw time on street tires on any given day. You have the same suspension (Koni/GR), just a little heavier car. But even when I was heavier in car, and with less tire (245s) like 5-6 years ago, I'd be faster than many other subarus on street tires.
No reason you can't raw time a turbo subaru on street tires. Just have to push yourself.
If I fail and can't get my car to round 3... Let me co-drive at Marina, and maybe we can see if your car is fast enough to straight time an STi on street tires.

06 sti
engine/tranny/pitchshop mount
injectors intake etc..
fmic
Fp green turbo
tbe and ported stock cross over pipe n stock header, not after market headers.
SPt chasis brace
xbrace
rce black springs
ohlin struts
lateral links / trailing arms with pillowball
sway bars
strut tower brace
driveshaft
greddy front lip dunno if this matters?
Those should be most of my mods that might be relevant to class.
I am on michelin ps2 tho not a more aggressive tire (which would be good if it does rain)
Can you guys help me figure out what class? I'll be solely doing this for fun and expect not to be fast.

Due to your braces (x brace and spt brace), you are OSP, FP if you have the stock 2.4 inlet size, otherwise you are XP
