I was blown away with how much room is inside those cars. I drove an S at Thunderhill and it was pretty fun. My biggest gripe is how much they weigh, but then they are very solid and well built little cars. A Cooper S w/ the works kit should be acceptable though I have never been impressed with the power of a Cooper S from inside or outside the car. Handling is great for a small FWD hatch.

Everytime I watch the Italian Job, I want a Mini. Check out Mini Mania for all the parts.

let me see if i get this right. a british car owned by germans and built partly in mexico? i might be a little off but i think thats how it goes. nice car, weird history, small capacity. if you get a mini, get the original and fix it up.

Anyone have info about them? I mean... like first hand knowledge... reliable, etc, etc?

Also, are they decently quick? I'd keep it stock, as Im done with modifying cars.

SRT-4 dude!!! 23K otd. and blows a mini away!!! Test drove one...and I was very impressed. Might get one too. 5 speed, Turbo, FMIC, factory turbo upgrades, factory suspension upgrades...that means warranty!!!

ps. I heard of SRT4's trapping amost the same or close too STI's on the track.

But the cool thing about the SRT-4 is, well, its a neon. So people can be like "Yeah, you drive a neon.. blah blah blah... Then you're like... 0wn3d, and they are like , and you are like " " . If I owned one, I'd 0wn everyone I could everywhere. lol

Even my girlfriend, whose knowledge of cars is limited to "a turbo makes the car go faster" laughed at the SRT-4 and recognized it as a neon w/ a body kit.
