Seized Coilover Lock Ring

^^Oh jeeze
I kinda want to go lower. The front can go down a little more but the height adjustment in the rear is maxed. To go lower I would have to drop the pre-load on the springs which I am hesitant to do since I don't have helper springs.
Before I was about an inch below stock. Dropped it another 1.5" so now I am about 1.5-2" below stock height. Doesn't sound like much but it is a pretty big drop.
If I decide that I want more low I would want to get some shorter springs and helper springs and go from there.

Why on earth would you want to go lower? You know the front is supposed to be higher, right? Your car is LOW!
On the current setting, you don't have any problems rubbing? What about driveways and such?

Hopefully I can get some better sized wheels and tires on soon. The current 16x7 are killing me. I was able to borrow a set of 17x7.5 G-forces for a day and they fit better, but still a decent amount of room. Makes me feel good about the 18x9 wheels that I want so bad.

Agreed
You really don't need helper springs. That just sounds like an excuse.

I had the same problem
Spray a ton of WD-40 or pb blaster or something all over the perches and coil, and you'll need TWO sets of spanner wrenches. My old coils were totally seized and I couldn't find anything to hold it hard enough to wrench on it until I used two sets of spanner wrenches that way you can grab at the top big perch and bottom big perch. Hope that helps, if not good luck
