Forester Turbo or WRX wagon, that is the question. On the subject of fast wagons:

Subaru dealers in the United States were up in arms last month at the
annual convention of the National Automobile Dealers Association over
discussions between Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (Subaru) and GM about
whether to give Saab a version of Subaru's Impreza WRX wagon. A Subaru
spokesman in the United States said a feasibility study is under way.
Said Wagoner: "I don't think we made any announcement on it yet, but
clearly (a Saab-Subaru relationship) appeals to us as an opportunity
that perhaps helps both partners. The product characteristics, while in
some ways different, in some ways there are a lot of similarities to the
philosophy of product. This is an area we want to explore."

What aspect of racing are neons NOT involved in?
Next question, how many scooby's you see in the 1/4? Less than you see a neon at a rally.
As to the bigger wing comment..yer thinkin honduh, and the fart pipe comes before the wing, then the motec system exhaust and the NNNAAAAWWWWZZZZZ timer. Also dont forget the robot with a large metallic phallic device up its *** graphic on the side

I just saw a silver one on 880-237. I even taunted him. The dude would not run with me.
The car looked pretty good, but the wheels/tires are pizza cutters with hardly any room for a size (Width) increase, and the back of the car was fugly. I liked the lines from the side, but definately not from the rear.
Another thing that I noticed was a MAJOR NEGATIVE CAMBER on the rear wheels. I did not like that at all. I looked like lowered Honda's without camber kits look. This car was bone factory stock. That setting is going to chew up some of those 205's!
My last observation was this: The car looked way to much like a childs toy. I don't know. It looks fake? Boy racer? YES!

I kind of liked the double pipe rear exhaust - looked good to me.
The wheels on the car I saw were not quite bicycle tires, but they were thin, they were also extremely verticle - even during turns, seems to me that would add to losing traction, but maybe I don't know what I'm talking about (that would be nothing new).
The one I saw also had noticable lag vs stock WRX (driver had to do lots of revving to keep the car in the power band) so I am assuming this has a pretty big turbo on it.
I also liked the front hood scoop, looked pretty cool.

Okay, from a roll I killed him twice (before he told me his car was faster), from a dead stop, he either had bad torque steer or he jumped, his car started moving about 30 degrees off the straight, I beat him so bad that I hit the on ramp (about 1/4 mile from where we started) at about 100 mph and I never saw him again
But that happened at the racetrack.
What really got me was that after I beat him twice from a roll, he still said his car was faster....I mean c'mon, I already beat you bad.

He was not red-lining the car driving it like it should be driven. All of this heresay is stemmed from that one video.
I don't buy it...show me 2 or three videos from different parts of the country. Too many dumb country bumkins from the south...no credibility...do you remember deliverance?
Take your Alabama tail back to the sticks. This is not the Alabama i-club, or the Alabama SRT-4 POS club either...
Go home...this is our club.

Hey man, for get these guys. Let them talk all the smack they want. We'll see how fast a SRT-4 is once it's maxed out in Mods with that Stage 3 from Mopar (but really, I don't think you can get much more from it, and still keep it drivable)

SRT-4 2970 lbs/215 hp = 13.81 lbs/hp
WRX sedan 3085 lbs/227 hp = 13.59 lbs/hp
Very close, but that doesn't tell the whole picture since the WRX is an all wheel drive vehicle the drivetrain loss is around 25%, the SRT-4 is 15-18% (not enough of them on the road to know for sure yet)...so...
SRT-4 @ 15% loss = 2970 lbs / 182.75 whp =16.25 lbs/whp
WRX @ 25% loss = 3085 lbs / 170.25 whp = 18.12 lbs/whp
giving the power edge to the SRT-4
I would still rather have my wrx
My wagon 3165lbs / 230 whp = 13.76 lbs/whp

FYI.... I love Alabama, You do not know anything about me or about this State. I am not afraid to say that I am from Alabama, manners kindness and the best BBQ you have ever tasted.... Now go ahead and talk **** all you want to about me... you may drive a Subaru but your attitude is all about the rice. Turn your hat back around, take off the tank top that is showing your little stick arms and be normal. Why is it that someone can not make a post with out getting some crap?? Either you need some therapy or you just need to chill. I am sure that you are a smart guy with much more to say in response, but please do yourself a favor and just let it go.
