A guy just bought a brand new SRT-4 yesterday. He revved on me twice from a roll. I pulled over and he followed and told me that his car was much faster than mine. I told him mine was mostly stock (I have Vishnu stage II whatever that is).

 

Why doesn't he tell me the same thing. That boy would be seeing tail lights for days!

My car should run a very low 12 second pass. I will find out next week!

Freaking stupid red-neck domestic fools! They don't know what they are messing with!

I saw one today...I actually dug the exterior, except for the HUGE visible black styrofoam around the FMIC...really stuck out.

The interior was too cheesy...but for a $19k rocket that puts 220+ to the wheels...you must respect!

Serious, why didn't you roll to some nice "track" and completly rip on this guy.....

I really like the SRT-4, but that getting cocky like no other... I really don't know how much they are gonna be able to mod this thing and keep it drivable...

Me and Nevz went to Serramonte Dodge and Mitsubishi today. The Neon salesman was really cool and even let us turn on the car and rev the engine and check under the hood. The Mitsubishi salesman, who was pushy as hell and very loud, yelled at us to come see the Evo while we were checking out the SRT4. When we get into the Mitsu dealership and sit in the cars, the Neon salesman comes over and very loudly asks us to point out the boost guage, at which point we laughed and told him there was none. The two dealerships apparently have a friendly feud going now over the two cars, though the winner was clearly the $20 grand neon with $3-5K markup over the $30k evo with a $20 markup. BTW, the bolts on the "low-profile GT spoiler" on the mitsubishi looked ugly as sin!

 

Okay, from a roll I killed him twice (before he told me his car was faster), from a dead stop, he either had bad torque steer or he jumped, his car started moving about 30 degrees off the straight, I beat him so bad that I hit the on ramp (about 1/4 mile from where we started) at about 100 mph and I never saw him again

But that happened at the racetrack.

What really got me was that after I beat him twice from a roll, he still said his car was faster....I mean c'mon, I already beat you bad.

 

Hahaha that's comedy. I wish you could have stopped and asked him if his car was still faster than yours. Then ask him who taught him to make turns in a straight line race. hahaha what a tool.

come on... stock vs stock with similar driving skills, the srt has the edge...

take them out in a dirt road!!!!!!!!! then proceed to rape the hell out of that srt...

 

you might be right, but anyone who wouldn't spend the extra $3000 to buy a WRX and the numerous advantages that come with it gets no respect from me.

 

Fast car or not, the guy was a chump. He probably never dragged raced before in his life or at least not in an FWD car. This is one reason why I can't stand FWD.
