Santa Rosa / North Bay Installer Shop

Any decent subaru-friendly installers north of north bay? I don't trust any shops up here, and don't mind taking a drive south (from eureka)... need some suspension bits, short shifter, and various bushings installed on my sti

i've heard of LIC from this board - any shops farther north?
found www.finelineimports.net on a web search...anyone familiar with them?

I would take my car to either shop.

thanks for the replies...i already tried contacting FLI and they said they're moving their shop so won't be able to help for a month at least. I guess I'll be travelling to LIC... not that i mind driving the extra hour, but going from Santa Rosa to Novato sucks during morning commute!

parts: pinks springs + hardened strut mounts, kartboy short shifter & shifter bushing, goodridge ss brake lines, whiteline anti lift kit, steering rack bushings, rear diff bushings. switching to royal purple tranny & diff fluid too once it arrives

probably should hurry up and buy a turbo back too if i'm gonna spend the time to go down there

I too can vouch for Miles and Stephen at Fine Line Imports. They will be movingto a new location soon on Piner Rd.
They are very knowledgeable as far as Subies are concerned and are more than willing to talk about anything you may need.I just got my accessecu from Miles and am very happy. He has done many other things for my WRX and next up is my full 30K service using all Subaru goodiesf...$275.

Alex, I am alive. Just barely

Seranin,

nice to see guys from the North Coast on here, I see a ton of Subarus up there but no one is on the forums.

i've met a few wrx/sti owners up here, mostly at the dragstrip at samoa...never brought up enthusiast forums when talking though - maybe they're on too *shrugs*

thanks for the advice everyone... LIC graciously scheduled me for next saturday for the install despite their heavy work load. sweet. get to avoid commute traffic and don't have to wait!

Let me agree with that 'Hooray for LIC!'...

Went down to LIC saturday and they installed everything for me. I'm really happy with the service, knowledge, advice (and price). Thanks again to the LIC crew and to everyone here for recommending them. Long drive for me, but well worth it.
