Santa Clara Shops!

Hey Guys - Hate to ask a question that is sure to be a repeat but I couldn't find any good answers.
I just need some basic work on my 03wrx -- its @ 60,000 and needs the regular tuneup.
Anyone recommend a good shop in Santa Clara that is trustworth and has reasonable rates?

All the anwers I find send me to shops in Fremont/Union City and seem like tuner shops.

Thanks!

I have had good experience with 2 shop in Santa Clara area...

Economy Auto and Chet's Auto Care. Mind you they are not Subaru shops and some might not think it's a good idea to take your ride to a none Subaru shop.

Economy Auto did my belts and clutch, very good work and good price. The owner is very honest, if he doesn't know, he'll tell you and won't charge you a dime. I recently have some AC issues, he poke around a little, and told me it's better off to go to an AC specialist.

I am new to Chet's Auto Care myself, but also very nice people. Vu, the guy that works there, helped me to confirm my diagnostic on the AC system, also for free. And the rate is very good too. (nice clean shop btw. ) Once I have the part, I'll have Chet's Auto Care to install it for me.

if you want to pay me i'll do it. You buy the stuff, bring it over and we do it.

It takes a while to do the coolant though, everything else is easy.

For a shope to do it, and quickly, go to LIC. They have wifi, XBox, TV, Magazines, plenty to keep you occupied. Plus there is a cheese steak place down the street that you will die for. Seriously, nothing compares to their cheese steaks!

Hey Guys! Thanks a ton! I used LIC last time and I agree, great shop. But I need something closer to work/home -- last time I spent the whole day playing GT4, good times.

Not for my Subie... but for other cars. Very reputable shop, famous for their carb rebuilding, but have top notch techs there too.
