Any recommended Mechanic Shops in Santa Clara for Subaru?

Hello,

I am checking out a 2008 Subaru WRX either this Saturday or next weekend. I wanted to take the WRX into a local Subaru mechanic for them to do a checkup on the car before I decided to purchase it or not from a private seller.

I don't know any good Subaru mechanic shops located in Santa Clara. Can anyone recommend any Subaru or general mechanic shop in Santa Clara?

Thank you,

/thread.

I had my car in there on a Friday afternoon just before closing for an oil change and they took the time to do a full-on inspection when the tech was looking to head out early....speaks volumes in my book.

Garage 1 doesn't do compression test but they do all the other inspections. With that said, how important is for me to get a compression test done on a used WRX?

I would think compression and leakdown are a must for any turbod engine. If numbers check out and you're going to buy it, might as well have them install new spark plugs while they're there.
