Just remember that in the Korean Conflict, U.S. soldiers fought against both North Koreans and regular Chinese soldiers, who had crossed the Yalu river.........don't forget that.

Regardless of the current NK leader, both NK & China are enemies of the U.S.

I just want Bush to explain to the American people why the U.S. Govt. allowed 9/11 to happen.......Sure Osama planned it, but our Nation suffers from a negligent level of National Security. Because, as history shows, conflicts within Europe are more important to the U.S. than in Africa or Asia.

For instance, our Govt. put a "Holocaust" spin on the Bosnia & Kosovo situations, and rightfully so.

However, you have these kinds of conflicts already erupted in Africa and other continents, yet you don't hear about our troops deploying there......

What got the U.S. involved in WWI? Was it the fighting between European colonies that was ravaging Africa?? No, it was the fighting on the European continent.....Just remember the act that emboldened Ho Chi Minh to lead his people to fight to resist the French colonials in Vietnam......when Ho Chi Minh addressed the league of nations about the Vietnamese peoples' desire for freedom from the French, U.S. President Woodrow Wilson responded that the right to self-determination (freedom to govern your own people) only belonged to the European peoples, and not asians, nor africans, nor anyone else.

As much as China is an allie w/ the U.S., thats just on paper. China would do anything to have the advantage over the U.S. They would help N.Korea to take down the U.S if given a chance. N. Korea's tie w/ China can not be ignored. Remember the Korean war? Half of the soldiers were actually communists Chinese..thats why we have troops stationed in South/North Korea border.

We can charge countries that we don't want to get involved with, to help them in conflicts, but they won't always be interested. Sorry but I don't think Israel is our truly ally. I think its bull**** what they have done with Palestinies. Come on now they say that the Palestines are the terrorist because the only means they have to defend themselves is sucide bombing. But what they do not mention is the fact that they destroy and kill more Palestiniens with their tanks and missiles that we paid for. Sorry but I do not think its right. And did you guys notice when Israel started acting on Palestiniens? Right after 9/11. Calling them terrorist to gather our countries support. Sadly it worked and we started to support them even more. I mean comeon they have their leader holed up and bombed. And they blame him for every terrorist act that happens? Now im not saying I have the solution but I don't see Israel as our only middle east ally.

Now to N. Korea getting help from China. Well more than likly if need be i think China would help them. The reason why china is intrested is N.Korea is because if they where not there America would have a way to attack china. I could write a several page essay on more reason but I won't bore you. And I don't have the time.

Now as to just leaving everyone else to solve their own problems and not getting involved. Well we can't do that. We can't AFFORD too. Think of what will happen if these conflicts spilled over to other countries. Their economies would go to **** people would die etc. This would effect us since we are the greatest importers in the world. It cracks me up everytime people that are for issolation fail to remember that very important fact. Also by helping others we help ourseleves.

What you are saying is that if Mexico started sending its citizens up here and strapping bombs to their chests...and there in Texas, that because this used to be Mexico, that that is alright? You are in Texas, so this applies to you too.

I think that every family member, and even extended family member of any homocide bomber should be executed. It would stop it straight away. That is how you stop Arab violence. It worked for the Soviets when they had problems with Arabs in the past.

And, the Isrealites are Isrealy my friend. The Arabs moved in there and attempted to take it over. When the state of Isreal was created in the 40's, it was not a big deal. Leave it to the Isrealies to turn in into a successful country, and bang...murder Isreal's athletes in Munich...homocide bombs galore.

If the Palastinians had their way, they would push the good people of Isreal...the AMERICAN ALLIES...off into the Med.

I went to the rally on saturday. First big demonstration that i have ever been in. I took way too many pics. I've never seen so many people of different backgrounds come together for the same cause. the march up market was very empowering hearing all the different chants being yelled out by the crowd. When we finally made it to the civic center there were many speakers voicing many opinions. The experience was one that i'll never forget. although i intended to be there as just an observer i found myself marching with everyone else.

I've been reading a lot of your comments and i would add my own. However, doing so would require a long response because i can just as easily right a term paper on the subject. I can say that i dont agree with a lot of what the government does. War is a terrible practice. Its a shame that we have to lose innocent lives over policy. I hate the fact that so many lives are determined by only a few people in power. This is why i believe rallys such as the those that have taken place on Jan18 are so important. It is a chance for us to speak for those who cannot be heard. For the soldiers we send to do their duty. For the women and children of countries to which we are sending our bombs.

I can go on. However, I think it would be easier to post a pic.
