So far no one has complained about November 15th. I'll have "final" info on Monday. I'm hoping to check the route out this weekend.

DAMN.

no worries guys....civic is not gonna come on the drive...probably bring the wrx if you think it can handle it stock on the 92's and still be fun.

Stupid friend...guy I said couldn't drive...yeah..took a corner too hot and smacked a curb.....bye bye wheel. bent frame. Bent lower control arm. front fender toast. air bags gone...windshield gone.

Gonna check it out tonight sometime. See if there are any other bends in the suspension. See if the strut bar made it ok and see if the CTR headlight made it...if he broke those headlights I'm gonna be pissed I could have made some money off those things but he wanted them so I gave them to him.

I knew he couldn't handle the car. kinda pissed....any of you guys sell something you put mad work into only to find out it was wrecked about 2 months later?

he has no clue how to drive...

I lent him my car so I could borrow his blazer to go to tahoe....came back with a slushy clutch...tranny was out in under two months......cost me grip to get it all fixed and I already had an extra tranny...... He has no clue how to drive.

I was planning on showing him what was up and walking him through proper turning, braking. Clutch use in corners and how to save slides...show him about understeer and what not....That is why I wanted to take the civic on this drive...what a dingus.

Funny thing is it had two tires with very low tread on the rear and brand new tires on the front....i told him to put new tires on the front...I hooked him up enough with basically giving him a free $3000 stereo system and a couple grand in parts. He didn't.

He came around a corner to fast and guess what...the back end let loose...probably wouldn't have happened with good tires.....definately wouldn't have happened if he knew how to use his clutch instead of panicing and hitting the breaks and slamming a curb.

bah...super bummed I put mad hours into that civic...most all the work done myself.....the motor...the suspension....all of it. Pissed. But hey...it was his car and shoot...I'm still driving a brand new 2004 wrx.....RIGHT....lol.
