Hi Matt,

Nice review - and very timely. My driver's side rear strut is leaking and haven't got round to swapping it out yet.

I had been looking at the Whitelines, but I don't really compete enough to justify the $$s - even though I know they are extremely good.

I had been looking at sti pinks with either Koni or AGXs, but the Helix C.O. sounds like a better bet for pretty much the same money.

You mentioned that the height adjustment is a PITA. Is it possible to accept trashing part of the thread to get a hold of it with a wrench or do you need the whole thread to be in good condition for assembly/disassembly/ adjustment?

Anyway, these sound like a good compromise and would probably work fine for my needs.

I worked on this some more, and discovered a sligtly better way to do the height adjustment.

Basically, you loosen the lower locking collar, and then snug the perch locking collar up against the lower perch adjustment. Snugged together like this, they dont turn, and instead rotate the entire shock absorber assembly. This way, you can use the special claw wrench thing to turn them.

This way adjustment still takes a while (can only turn them a half turn at a time), but can be done with a tool without screwing up the threads.
