reqs opening up - tech support
My company's going to be opening up a few (not sure how many yet) headcount for level 1 and level 2 tech support engineers. This is a fairly technical environment dealing with unix and windows device driver and filesystem issues. More information about the company is available at http://www.mendocinosoft.com. Send me your resume if you're interested.

For anyone else reading, I'm not sure what the salary range will be. We're a startup, so it likely won't be sky-high (the payoff from a startup usually coming down the line from things like stock options).

So effectively it's like UFS with snapshots, but on Windows. Some of our customers (I work for Hurricane Electric) might be interested in that. I'll definitely drop your name if they inquire about that type of thing.

Yep, it's sort of like that, but a lot more general and flexible. I think we're actually just down the block from HE.

FWIW, our software currently works on Solaris and Windows boxes, and can protect any sort of datastream (we appear to be a block/raw device to an application (i.e. filesystem, database, whatever)).
Shoot me a PM if you want super geeky details about it.
