go to Chinatown and hit up the travel agencies there 
Usually they have a bus that leaves the Chinatown Holiday Inn that goes to Reno and provides 3 day-2 night hotel plus the bus trip over there for cheap. If u don't mind noisy Chinese people in the bus, this is the trip for you
