so sad...that is true, she is not owner of the chimp. I heard the victim is sueing around 50 million dollars.

 

That "blob" looks like a flap (aka soft tissue from another part of her body). It's not the same color as the rest of her intact face. She probably had a significant amount of avulsed tissue (aka face ripped off) so they needed to cover it with tissue from elsewhere. They are letting this tissue "grow" right now and my money is that they are planning on reconstructing her in the future once the flap takes. This book is not over yet, many more surgeries for her in the future. I'm interested to see what she ends up looking like when it's all said and done.

Umm, they said they did facial reconstruction? If that's so, I'd want my money back. Alls I see is a huge nose/blob thingy on a face with eyesockets. I hope her eyes DONT work due to that picture. Holy mother of CHRIST!

yikess.. at least she survived.. i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.. but she survived to talk about it what happened.. i wish her the best of luck with everything... maybe a plastic surgeon will help?? maybe..
