Recommend a mechanic

What are some recommendations for a good mechanic? The closer to San Jose, the better.

Any arm chair mechanics want to comment on my noise? It is a cyclical noise that seems to go with the rotation of the tire. It happens primarily when the car is turned right and moving forward, but the same noise is faintly detectable when the car is turned left. It does not make the noise in reverse. It sounds more like a suspension squeak than the growl of a wheel bearing. I'm guessing it's a suspension bushing, but I'm not really sure. From under the car, the CV boots don't appear ripped, and there is no sign of them leaking. I haven't yet pulled the tires and looked at the brake dust shield yet, but I'd be surprised if that is it given the rubbery "squeak, squeak" as compared to a metallic noise, but I plan to check that tonight.

Now that I'm out of warranty, knowing how to find a trusted mechanic is a good thing!
