I'm not bashing anybody, I just don't get it. Then again, I don't understand the whole "drifting thing" either. I think I'm just too old.
Everybody can do what they want with their cars, that's the beauty of it. It's just something I could never see myself doing. Oh well.

How about removing a fair amount of the understeer inherent in any car with front wheels that are putting power down to the road?
It's a simple fact that a push from behind (ie. RWD) causes the nose to dig into the turn while a pull from the front (ie FWD) is going to pull a car towards the outside of the turn.
What IIIIII want in my Suby is a center diff like the one in the the G35 AWD; something I can set anywhere between 50F/50R and 0F/100R.
I think if someone made an affordable center diff like that which was easy to change (not even necessarily from inside the car) I'd spontaneously jizz my drawers.

what I really didn't like about the Sport Compact Car article on that car is where they mentioned how the owner blew up the motor with an MBC, put it back to stock, and got it warrantied. put the MBC back on, added NOS, and blew it up again, put it back to stock, and got yet another warrantied engine. it didn't add anything to their article, but IMHO it publicizes an already shady practice by some owners.

I totally agree with you on the more oveersteer. You dont have to have a rwd car to drift. You just need to know how to sertup your car, be it fwd, rwd, or awd.

i dunno, i've sold dodges . . . they suck no matter how u dress em up(IMO)(which is probably why i sell subies) the only things i like about the focus is the fact that it kinda feels like a german car and u can have the tone/feel/power of a mustang
other than that... yep. ..
