Rattling noise between Helix Downpipe and Catback!!

My WRX has this annoying rattling noise coming from my Helix Downpipe that is joined to my Helix Catback..ONLY WHEN CAR IS IDLE..I took the car to MPJ and had their mechanic take a look at to see if there may be a heatshield hitting it...NOPE nothing...He noticed it was coming from where the Downpipe and Catback Join together..but nothing, all bolts are tight and no exhaust leak....He suggested I change oil since I was 500 miles over due..

Any1 Experience this and care to elaborate on this issue.

Did the oil change end up fixing the problem?

Nothing against MPJ, but oil change? WTF?

Did he check that little tab where the downpipe bolts onto the tranny? I've heard of that making unusual noises if the bolt is missing or loose.

this might cuase it to hit the trannie cross member. If you didnt already have that checked that might be it.

Sorry, that was just how he worded it. Like I said, it's nothing against MPJ, don't pick on me, I didn't mean anything by it.

it's probably the DP hitting the tranny crossmember. Loosen the dp bracket and pry over then bolt it back down. Alternatively you can try swaping all the hangers over to kartboy.
