There is some rattling noise that's happenin' somewhere after the install on a Turboback. I'm thinkin' it has to be something to do with that, and hopefully nothin' to do with somethin' in my engine.
The sound only goes off when I'm givin' it some juice on the road, but when I accelerate slowly, it isn't there. It doesn't sound at neutral revvin' the engine either. I'm thinkin' there's a loose bolt, but have any of you guys had a rattling noise that just gets faster as you accelerate?
Thanks to anyone with helpful responses.

If you installed a turbo back (Downpipe + Catback) it may be the down pipe. I installed the first version Helix Downpipes and it always rattled against the transmission. After putting in spacers so the bolts could tighten down properly against the tranny, the rattling stopped. But the best thing to do is to get under the car and to see if anything is rubbing or loose. Hope you get noise fixed.

Also, when you are under the car, a good way to make sure your exhaust is nice and tight....(make sure the exhaust system is cooled off) and grab that sucker right in the middle (where the mid-pipe would be) and shake that mo fo all over the place, if something is loose, rubbing, or not mounted properly it will show when you shake your exhaust. ( I know its a primitive method, but it works, and pretty much failsafe)
good luck

A problem I had was that the rear section of the exhaust was rattling against the rear heatshield. Once I removed it, all was good. You also might want 2 check that cuz it worked for me. Good luck.
