Rant about hit n run ...
So today, at about 6:00 pm, i went to work out at the bayfair 24 hr fitness ... parked right next to an suv since it was the only close spot open. and guess what, when i came out there's a humongous dent/chipped paint on the right side of my car!! No note, nothiing. No one was around, and no cameras survey the parking lot ... I just called triple A and they wrote down my info and everything and said it's gonna take one business day to process the claim and an agent's gonna call me tomorrow. How much do u guys estimate the deductable is gonna be? .. the dent/chipped paint goes on both passenger side doors and it is bigger than the diameter of a basketball ... i'll post pictures later ... *sigh* neways
If in the smallest chance in the world that anyone was working out or around the area of this incident when it happened. shoot me a pm

people are *** holes.
your deductible should be right on your insurance paperwork. probably $500.
That size dent fixed properly is well worth running through insurance. don't think it effects your rates. I talked to my insurance agent about similar stuff and he said if you make one claim like that every couple years it's cool. if you're doing it every 4-6 months then they take notice and your rates will go up or you'll get dropped.
I'd run it. Probably cost triple your deductible to get it fixed if it's really that large.

When My suby got keyed it was a vandalism deductable. I only had to pay 100 bucks and they had to repaint half of my car. The insurance paid 1600 dollars for that.

Sorry bout that man, feel you pain too. That crap sucks. You feel like you wish you could have god powers and find them, put a basketball size dent in their heads, and treat them like a dog saying, "Bad, no dents, bad" then whack!
I thought the deductable is what ever you agreed upon when getting your policy ie: one of the following $50, $100, $250, $500, $750, $1000 usually! Should be in your insurance papers!
