Let's not relive this one Phil. . . oh and if I didn't feel bad that you had to spend so much on tickets and the impound. . I would be sending you my phone bill for all the collect calls, hehe just joking. . .

You got that DAMN right. Back in December my friend was driving me and two other people in his car just about to leave from Newark to a club in sf. On our way to get gas we get pulled over cause the cops heard his muffler... it was broken and needed to be fixed (94 saturn btw). So the cops (Newark PD) illegally searched his car that had nothing illegal in it. They found a scrap of metal from my friend's ROP welding class and claimed it as a deadly weapon. I RESPECTFULLY called the cop on the fact that he illegally searched my friends car then the cop tried to instigate me to fight him and threatened to throw me in jail. My buddy got taken off by the cops to jail for the night and me and my two other friends were just stuck stranded there with no ride.

Actually, in 1996 the Supreme Court gave cops the right to search a car if they can make a bull **** reason such as they believe you might have drugs or weapons. I'm actually writing a paper for english on racial profiling and that's how I know about this crap.

You tell me. Almost every time I've been pulled over in Danville I've received a ticket.
