Are you guys really serious about thinking that getting out of the car would have been a better idea? Seriously?
I'm not scared to say it; I'd rather look like a wimp a million times over than risk getting involved in all of the potential legal headaches associated with assault, and whatever other kinds of disasters could have happened on this 2-lane road. Regardless of the fact that he could prove his innocence, it would still be a huge waste of time and energy.
Even if you did think that a white BMW driver on Calaveras was likely to actually attack you, would leaving you car really make you that much safer? I've never been attacked so I wouldn't really know, but if someone was about to shoot me I would rather flee in the car than stand outside of it while trying to fight back. Same goes for any other weapon less dangerous than a gun.

ehh i wouldn't say a 335i is entry level. Just a few weeks ago one came off the truck at the dealership with a $70,000 price tag. Yes, it was fully optioned out but those things when their fuel pumps and fuel pressure sensors
don't go out on you every 5000 to 15,000 miles can be quite fun. But the 335i is a unreliable pos and this gentleman's reaction, attitude, driving maneuvers and competence pretty much describes 3 out of every 5 BMW drivers I have come across.
I-club don't ever trade your subie for a 335i ~~!!!

Thats like a Sunday drive gap! Monday morning gap of 2 car length is typical around here. 1 is pull the **** over! But that was easily 5 and I applaud the braking distance of 3 for a mazdaspeed driver! very responsible!
why would you call 3 series entry level? if you cant make 3 liters work then you probably cant drive. An M5 wouldnt do much of a better job on that road. 1 series is where its at...hoping they make a .5 series someday for 20-60mph roads
