Maybe... maybe she felt pressured by all the cameras and performers and felt guilty because of the effort....
Or maybe he could have bought her a hamburger and asked her at wendy's and she would have said yes.
Like I said... the thought behind it and the time it took to do it without telling her... rad. All the cameras... whack. It came off as self absorbed to me. Hopefully they live happily ever after.
I'm just saying that he didn't raise any bar in my opinion. The whole thing needs to be about what SHE wants. What HER dreams are. If she always dreamed of some music video crossed with napoleon dynamite then good for her. But it looked to me like this dude is a performer and he wanted to do some crazy *** performance. So he got what he wanted.
