glad to know it's not only me that thinks jager makes you angry

think, though, this is most raiders fans mentality...they're angry because their team sucks so they just get trashed.

though i've been to a few of the raiders broncos games in oakland, it's really not worth it. When you have to debate going to the bathroom later in the game, since all the drunk raider fans are going to be in there too, and wondering if you'll make it out of there conscious.

Same here. I was amazed to see his LACK of stats. I'm wondering if the defense just made it a point to stop him.

I'm amazed at the complete and utter lack of Justin Fargas. I think they should trade him. It seems they've settled on using Bush this year so trade fargas. They might be able to package him with a pick and move up in the draft.

All I know is what I thought was gonna be a terrible division is looking better than I expected. San Diego looks pretty damn good. I'm curious to see if they trade L.T. midseason. They might be able to get a first round pick out of him. At least a high second. And they obviously are in love with sproles.

The game did not sell out!! Man...it is really pathetic that the Raiders can't sell out a game against a heated divisional rival. And guess what that means....that means the game is blacked out here in the bay area.

http://www.mercurynews.com/raiders-h...nclick_check=1

The Oakland Raiders' home game against the Denver Broncos will be blacked out locally because the team did not sell out the game in time.

Games need to be sold out 72 hours before kickoff to avoid a blackout in a 75-mile radius. The Raiders got a one-day extension to sell out the opener against San Diego but were unable to avoid the blackout against the Broncos.

The Raiders have had two games blacked out each season since taking over ticket sales from Alameda County before the 2006 season. This marks the first division game blacked out during that time.
...ouch

When they get a QB who can hit his targets, silver&blackouts wouldn't be an issue.

I was a sucker, so I've got tickets to this one. It would be nice to start the season 2-1 and on top the division with the league's worst QB.

For the rest of you, hope you get to follow along on the internet or via Greg Papa.

black out rules are stupid. It was a decent experiment to see if attendance would rise but wtf. It's just hurting the teams with older stadiums and lower income fans.

I hear this is an NFL deal? Like other teams have black outs as well?

Yup. Same rule applies for every team.

Yup. Same rule applies for every team. Oakland isn't the only team that has had games blacked out locally.

I guess the Rams had this issue when they were located down in LA, which they thought the blackout snowballed the issue of poor attendance and helped facilitate them moving to St Louis

Yeah and with the current economy it's becoming a larger problem all across the country but the NFL won't back down. Stupid.

Russell needs to be cut, not benched CUT. He blames both int on the refs and think he is doing just fine. Last time i check a 38 passer rating is not a good thing.....
