Well, I ended up leaving at 1:30 PM and took 680-580-205-5-80. I got to where I needed to go in 2 hrs and 45 min. There was a minor accident after the 680-580 interchange, and there were a couple of stop and go instances the rest of the way, the worst being 5->80. Argh... I hope I don't have to do this drive again.

 

God forbid if you have to do it again try the 680N>580E>205>5N>4E>99N way. It's probably faster.

 

Going down 4E vs using 5 all the way to stockton, wouldn't be faster? Since i have a job interview in hrem.... fremont...
