Quick DSL question
When I had my DSL activated, well, it was supposed to be activated on a Friday. When the day came... nothing. All 3 of the lights were on. I knew there was nothing wrong on my side, so I bit the bullet and called tech support.
They thought it was my NIC card and were going to send me a new one. I had some extras, 3 different extras, and none of them worked either. So I knew it was absolutely wasn't my fault.
Called tech support on Sunday night... low and behold, I wasn't even connected to their servers. After waiting for about 40 mintues or so, they had me connected.
So let me say... while some tech support people are knowledgable, some of them don't help at all. Many refuse to even think that there's a problem on their side. It's always a problem with you
. But alas, sit through it and you'll eventually find someone that can help you.
