Question for tuners

okay, i have a vf34 setup on a 04 wrx. Im tuned by mike for 17.5 psi. after the tune i installed borla headers, perrin shortram and inlet hose. now i boost creep to about 1.5 bar on defi gauges .. so around 20 psi. im going to port and polish my turbo and wastegate get a bigger tmic and retune. MY question is, how safe is it to run with a much bigger tmic without a tune in my case? should i do it or no?

Making such drastic changed to your setup when running a custom tune is never "safe." I suggest taking it easy on the car until you're ready to get a re-tune appropriate for your new setup.

Thanks

Agreed, even though I am not a tuner ... porting may or may not solve the issues; keep that in mind.
