question for IT people...
is there a script/program written that can subscribe someone to spam? I have IP addresses of these people too, if that'll help.
I'd like to be able to simply enter an email address (or IP address) into this program and have their email/IP address farmed out to as many spambots as possible on the internet.
Feel free to PM if you know something that you don't want to share in public.
Thanks.

These are the people who join my board, and then post up a cut and paste of their ad for Cialis, or they're selling the iRokr 2 phone for $99, etc. and list a whole bunch of crap. They include their email addresses, and I have the email address under which they joined, in addition to their IP addresses, etc.
Giving them spam in their business email box should give them something to read.

I doubt those people would care about getting spam in the box since the email address are randomly made specifically to spam others to begin with. I thought at first it was for someone specifically otherwise when you sign up for a newsletter, ****, or whatever it is it will show your IP address to verify YOU were the one who subscribed in the first place. Maybe check with one of the site admins like SPT or something and see if they know of a solution to deal with this situation.

I think you can report it to spamhaus.org and see if that works. But if end users don't subscribe to spamhaus as one of their spam filters, it won't help you.

The other thing is a lot of these spam schemes rely on bots which infect other computers and hijack innocent people's e-mails as return addresses.
Spamming should be a criminal offense, but I'd say that stooping to their level isn't improving matters either.
But hey Greg thanks for finding me that power steering hose!
