I too have been deciding to go wingless. I plan on going with a Seibon CF lid and keep my stock trunk to change it up some times.

I was not able to find anyone that wanted to trade trunks. I ended up buying a brand new trunk and a limited lip spoiler to go with it. Total for those two items came out to ~$580. Paint and labor was free since I did the painting/install. I got some money back when I sold the STI trunk for $350.

Just plug the holes with epoxy from the inside and color the dots with whatever color paint code you have.

$12 OTD

that way you can always punch the holes out if you want it back on.

Yeah I was lucky as well. Found a wingless lid and did a straight swap.
I would recommend craigslist and just about ever other Suby Forum out there.

Good Luck!

ps. Check out Car-Parts.com, its a huge online Junk Yard DB of parts. You can find some trunk lids on there as well.

And do not forget to peep out the "how to" swap thread:

It's really helpful

Just do a trunk swap. It's super easy and the best choice unless you want to spend $500-$1000.

You're choices are Wingless 2.5i, Wingless WRX, and WRX with Spoiler from 04-07.

If you want a limited trunk you have to buy a trunk and lip since there were no OBP limiteds.
