I could start a new thread about times getting pulled over (growing up in sf, sfpd don't give a lot of tickets but warn a lot and let go - not just for moving violations if you know what I mean)
Not to mention the speeding tickets I do have from chp and the multiple times let go without ever having a leo ask for my hood popped (I've got a straight pipe) :knock on wood:

Get a wagon and commemorative 9/11 american flag license plates, I've been pulled over twice in 2 years and only got warnings both times.
One was for no front plate, a rookie (with sgt. in car) pulled me over at 1:45AM on San Fernando & 4th and FIRST asked me to step out of the car and put cuffs on me, THEN proceeds with the basic field sobriety test. At this point the sgt. got out of the car, stopped him, took the cuffs off and apologized to me. He quietly told the rookie "what the **** are you doing?" and then told me they pulled me over for no front plate and sorry again about the cuffs.
The other wasn't even a traffic stop. My buddy and I were in a mall parking lot around the corner from my house. Long story short, I was put in the back of the cruiser with my buddy while they searched my car. They found a few pocket knives, 3 pairs of black gloves in the glove box (that's where they go damnit!), my small "oh-****"/camping bag which had a machete, hatchet, maglite, MRE's, water, etc. and a decomissioned as in hollowed out completely hand grenade shift ****. In the process they tore out most of my interior, played with all my knives and toys, and capped the night off by calling the bomb squad. He (yeah, the bomb squad was a big Filipino dude in an SUV) showed up about 30 minutes later, looked at the grenade, stuck his finger in the hole on the bottom of it, then he pulled the pin and tossed it in the bushes!!!
They let us go with a warning.

-Back before in the 5 liter 90 in 35 on taylor blvd around the big turn but the cop gave me 55 as the limit changes 500 feet or so later.
-got stopped in my last sti at Cuesta college in san luis obispo. Floored it up to 100 by the speed sign on highway 1. retired x police chief saw me, phoned the campus police and followed me in to the school. I was starting to walk to class and boom, a real ticket for 85+ in a 65 written by a guy who had never seen my car before.
-Stopped on 101 given either 85 or 90+ had been doing a lot faster with a motorcycle, both had detectors and backed off hard. Couple minutes later he shrugged and took off, and of course the cops comes by, then busts a u turn on the 101 i stay 65 he pops me for that guys speed. I didn't bother trying to tell him it was the bike he should have gotten.

I live in Petaluma, some of the biggest *** hats are cops here. I got pulled over on my way home from picking up my car from having like 10grand worth of mods installed and i was going 15mph and said my exhaust is illegal! I went off on the *** munch and he had me pop my hood. Nice to know I had built my car to look stock and keeped my TMIC and had a JDM airbox installed. Guy could not find nothing under the hood so he let me go. Says next time he's just giving me a REF ticket. Was lucky, now I just got my exhaust cutout done and now I don't need to stress!

That's funny because I talked to you that day when you were picking your car up and you told me that was probably going to happen.

I got pulled over in my Civic so many damn times, all for different reasons, but I never got a ticket.
One said my exhaust was too loud. I have a completely stock exhaust (with cat and resonator) and a non-fartcan muffler.
One for my license plate being "too dim" because the guy who owned it before me didn't cover the lenses when the whole car was painted.
One time for no front license plate, just a warning again.
And last for one brake light out (the bulb burnt out).
All warnings and all in the EXACT same place, Ford Ord.

They have been trained to.
