Car Info: ...zeh car drives you!

I would want to see more than :43 second and/or different angle from one of the forward cars. If he was driving like that all the time, toss him under the bus. If this was single case of misjudgement forced by a douchbag BMW driver, glad no one got hurt and I will toss him under the bus

The pass was dangerous only because the left turn coming up was blind. And seriously, that was a BAD pass. The reason he was hesitant to even make the pass was the right turn was blind and he couldn't see. Well, the left turn was just as bad for vision. HOWEVER: Not even going to bother listening to a BMW driver... I'm sure the Douch is strong with this one. Totally believable what mooshoo said.
I had BMW-boy on my butt, but I chose to let him and his little friends (including a blue subie hatch, now that's sad) pass and watched as he ended up behind slow moving cars LMAO well done, morons LOL ...you should have seen these 3 stooges run to their cars screeching like little *****es when they saw us get in our cars ... Not sure what you were up to, but I sure wasn't going to fall for your idiot touge ... LOL
BMW = Bad Motorist Warning
Be careful what you post in these forums, you never know what kind of low-life will show up, just sayin ...

There was also someone tailgating/whatever in a BMW, but that does not warrant unsafe driving. Those are two separate issues. Tailgating sucks, but, it definitely happens out there.
The BMW driver did not "make" the Subaru driver do what they did. If someone is tailgating you, then you need to really just ignore them as nothing else you can really do if you are unable to out-drive them.

On the surface, the fact is the driver had a split second decision to make when he stepped on the brake: to tuck in between the two cars or cross into incoming traffic to pass the car in front of him. Clearly as seen in the video, he chose the latter, and I would say he chose poorly, because the first choice had much less risk (squeezing into a spot where the two cars were clearly aware of what he was trying to do) but also less "reward" (being stuck behind a car that is driving slower than what the subaru driver was trying to drive). There was more "reward" to pass the car and drive up faster, but the risk of colliding with a car/bike/bicycle was incredibly real, at any time of day. So in that split second, in my opinion, the driver chose poorly.
But why did the driver put himself into a situation where he would make such a decision? I would look at the root cause of this situation as group driving/ tail gating/ pressure. If he was driving leisurely, alone, would he have made the same decision? If the BMW wasn't behind him? If he didn't feel that he had to pass the car to join the rest of the group?
Ultimately he chose poorly, but he was in a situation where he had to make that split second decision and there were all these other factors in play.
If you're in a caravan, regardless of the situation, always remember to take the road of least risk. Might not be as fun or exciting, but it could also mean everyone gets to drive home safe.
Dude that guy = idiot.
Man if a car was coming around that corner I can only imagine the mayhem (allstate) that he'd cause.
But seriously, there are arguments here that are justifying the pass. The pass was BAD, Richard Sherman would have picked that off blindfolded. The argument that there was "no other way" is completely false. It is the person behind you who is responsible to brake (BMW guy) if the scoob decided to brake and turn back into lane.
Bottom line, stop douching it up before someone gets hurt. I'd say keep posting videos, THERE IS A POINT to post videos.
