Problems with 06 LGT

I was cruisin in the mountains and all of the sudden i heard a thunk and I could drive my car around but later when i tried to hit 3000rpm i heard a whining noise coming from the righthand bottom region of my the enginebay. If anyone has had any problems please share. I live in Downtown San Jose and my car has 32,000 miles, stock with the exception of a catback, and had all oils changed at 27,000 miles.

As many will tell you never try to diagnose an engine sound on the interwebz.

better off just taking it in instead of having people make you worry about nothing
