Problem with my car - help now!
Hey guys,
I've been really stressed lately because I have a problem with my car and I can't figure out what is going on. I recently went back to stock, because of a state referee ticket and since then, this problem has risen.
Problem: Occasionally this does not happen, but 9 times out of 10 it does... When I floor it, my boost gauge will read 1.2 bar, and then it will fall right to .5 bar, and then back up to 1.2 bar, so on and so on. The boost constantly fluctuates while accelerating, so my pull is strong, then dies, then is strong again..
I have my buddy's stock ECU in my car, the restrictor is in place correctly, and I have NO idea what is wrong.
Please help me!
Thanks,
Chris

Did you try all the basics: ECU reset since you put it all back to stock? Check all the FBC boost lines? Check all the intake/IC hoses? Make sure to get a good tank of gas?
Can you feel the boost drop or just see it on the gauge? If it fluctuates that much it should feel like considerable surging.
