I use twin e-turbos..with my wing I got eleventy billion % more rice...I wonder if I can wire the N/A BOV in series of the e-turbos..

if you guys go back and look at the corolla thread...theres actually some good arguments going on...=P

LOL, I bet it works (sorta) at LOW RRRRRR's, but I have a feeling that when you are pushing the upper envelope of your engines' RPM range, it will cause a restriction due to not enough airflow. Although they DO CLAIM it will move enough air, but my question is...how will the electric motor perform when there is a load placed on it (backpressure)? A real turbo will naturally spool down at low RRRRR's, thus not creating any boost/backpressure on itself(as we all know). But what happens when you are in traffic or something and the E-turbo is constantly creating "boost" when the engine is not demanding the extra air velocity....wont that cause a backpressure problem in the intake system, thus loading up the elec. motor? Its a simple supply and demand situation....the motor only demands X amount of air pressure, but the constant "boost" pressure that is NOT being used will create too much air supply. Please lemme know if any of this is NOT TRUE...but it seems like a potential problem to me.

Actually it's not. There were debates about this long before the WRX came out. The general consensus was that it's of no help. Of course it's better in the WRX, it's a turbo that REQUIRES premium.

Even that little gerbil-sized motor will pull in WAY more air at idle (let alone actually pressing the gas pedal) than that E-turbo can possibly supply. It's a blockage on the air intake path, period.

You'd be shocked how big an electric motor would be necessary to turn that thing so it'd actually supply boost....put it this way, it ain't fitting under the hood of ANY Toyota car

not sure why anyone want to pay for something that sorta works... it's like buying tires that sorta hold air and stay round...

LMAO very true.....however, I do have to say, those tires you are talking about....LOL, well, they sound like the super swampers I used to have on my truck...LOL, although they DID hold air....they DID NOT stay round! LOL, I had to balance and rotate those damn things nearly twice a month! But they cant be beat offroad! so it was well worth the pain in my butt!
