In an interesting twist, about one-third of Prius drivers broke crosswalk laws, putting the hybrid among the highest "unethical driving" car brands. "This is a good demonstration of the 'moral licensing' phenomenon, in which hybrid-car drivers who believe they're saving the Earth may feel entitled to behave unethically in other ways," Piff says. (The Prius results were observed but not analyzed for statistical significance in the study.)

I almost got hit by 5 prius' in the past 2 months..
And they suspect your the issue.

Send them up here to train the Prius owners who consistently cut in front of you in order to start their hypermiling at least 5-10 UNDER the limit.

I hate when a prius drive "Must" speed past you and cut you off, and then proceed to drop your speed down 10mph from what you were originally doing. So for example, I was doing 70mph in the left lane.. Alll lanes open, idiot prius driver cuts me off and slows me down to 60mph.. -.-

Today on hwy 101 I saw a Prius driver get brake checked, he was tailgating a truck for a bit. I lOl'd when he pulled up next to the truck and flipped him off
