The right to do a certain doesn't necessarily mean it's ethical.
Like how it was legal for members of McCain's rallies to shout out that Obama is a "terrorist" and to "kill him" while McCain and Palin did nothing to reprimand or discourage them. Perfectly legal, but very unethical especially considering Obama is a fellow American senate representative.
