This year, like last year, the San Francisco Region of SCCA is gonna be putting some cars into the San Francisco Auto Show (week before Thanksgiving at the Moscone Center in SF, for the locals).

Last year, I had my Impala SS as part of the display.

I am probably among only a small number of people who can say they've had their car in an ELEVATOR before

Well, for this year SCCA is showing some different cars (other autocross cars) so no SS in the show. However, they are also putting together some video of cars autocrossing.

Our local photographer extraordinaire Doug Richardson of Sports Car Image took some video of my WRX last Sunday at autocross. Doug has done a Past Photo Shoot of my WRX, and I hope to have him do one of my SS some day (aka he takes some sweet photos!).

However, this wasn't your "normal" in-car video. It was one of those suction-cup mount cameras that goes ON the car.

We did one run with the camera on the roof, and the second run with the camera on the right door behind the front right wheel. He then combined the two runs into one "run video"

It came out looking pretty dang cool

With Doug's permission, I am posting the video below. It is approx 15 Megs in length. There is no sound on the video.
