"Bosses of American satirical show Saturday Night Live were left embarrassed by Eminem last night when the rapper lipsynced through parts of his two performances on the show. A week after Ashlee Simpson's miming fiasco made headlines, Eminem failed to keep up with his own guide track as he performed politically-charged "Mosh" and new hit "Just Lose It." This came after guest host Kate Winslet poked fun at last week's lip-syncing controversy during her opening monologue."

The only cool thing about him is that "Mosh" video, though, I gotta admit...

 

hah there has to be someone working on the SNL set that ****s with the recordings so everyone messes up when lip-syncing. What are the chances that all these people are only messing up on this show....

eminem sucks .. not only did he lipsync,which isnt that bad since most preformers do that these days , but his preformance sucked .. he didnt even put any energy into it and the lyrics just sucked .. he has really lost it

Actually he produces his own beats and beats for other rappers (Nas, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Obie Trice, G-Unit, etc). I actually like some of the beats he produced (Jay-Z's "Moment of Clarity", aside the fact that I spite G-Unit, even 50 Cent's "Patiently Waiting", Lloyd Banks' "On Fire" too). They're very influenced by Dr. Dre's style, but Em adds his own flavor to it. For example his drums has some filters in it to give it this nice punchy thump. He loves adding strings and pads into his stuff and it builds up during the duration of the song. Not all emcees produce themselves though.

Anyway, any hip-hop head knows, Eminem's best material was from the Sound Bombing CD's from Rawkus. Well, the ones who aren't biased against Em. Most people just know the overrated Eminem from the past few years. Blah. His newer stuff doesn't have the same lyrical edginess, sarcastic humor, and creativity as his old stuff.

There's not much else that I liked from him though =P
And 50 Cent only had one good track, "Wanksta" IMHO.

Face it, hip-hop has gotten old and boring. All the new songs are totally lame. It's all re-hashed beats and horrible lyrics to go along w/ them. I can't even listen to any of the new crap. Just plain bad. The only good stuff is by indie bands like Jurassic 5 and People Under the Stairs. The popular stuff is just plain crap.
